This document clarifies the responsibilities that the employer and its employees have to each other, to our partners and to our guests. It helps us understand the responsibilities we share, and alerts us to important conduct issues that may arise. You will not find every policy or standard here; however, the basic values and principles by which the hotel is guided are included in this document.

The Code of Ethical Conduct for the University of South Australia establishes principles to be applied by all staff in their activities and behaviour. The Code does not seek to identify common or statutory law requirements, and reference must be made to the University of South Australia Act , University policies and procedures, and other sources for such guidance. Specific procedures for ethical conduct are documented in University Policies and Procedures for example financial management, human resources, equal opportunity and research.

To provide a framework for University Members to identify and resolve issues concerning the ethical conduct of individuals at the University. In addition, individuals who are granted access to University facilities or who are engaged in providing services to the University, such as contractors and consultants, are also expected to comply with applicable provisions of the Code. In places where the Code is applicable to all of the above members of the University community, the general term 'University Member s ' is used. This Policy does not apply to Students. The University's Code aims to foster and maintain public trust and confidence in the integrity and professionalism of the University by expecting that University Members will:.
